Information we collect
Zanmicro collects the information you provide to create and manage an account, place and deliver orders, and receive customer support. This can include your name, email address, phone number, password in securely hashed form, delivery address, region, district, street, location details, shopping cart, saved products, product reviews, order history, mobile-money number, payment status, and transaction references.
The Android app uses internet and network-state access to connect securely to zanmicro.com. It does not request access to your SMS messages, contacts, precise location, camera, microphone, or device storage. Zanmicro never asks for or collects your mobile-money PIN or one-time password.
How we use information
We use customer information to authenticate accounts, show products, manage carts and saved delivery details, process and deliver orders, send payment requests, confirm payment, provide order tracking, send service messages, prevent fraud, maintain security, respond to support requests, and meet accounting and legal obligations.
Payment and messaging providers
When you choose mobile-money payment, the required phone number, order reference, and amount are sent to our payment service provider so it can deliver a secure payment prompt. Your PIN is entered only in your mobile provider's secure interface. When transactional SMS is enabled, the required phone number and order message are sent to our SMS service provider. These providers process information only to provide the requested service.
Security and retention
Information is transmitted over HTTPS. Access to account and order data is restricted, passwords are stored as non-reversible hashes, and Android sign-in tokens can be revoked. We keep information only for as long as needed for the purposes above. Transaction records may be retained where required for accounting, fraud prevention, dispute handling, or law.
Account and data deletion
You can permanently delete your account inside the Android app under Account → Delete account, or use the public account deletion page. Deletion removes your profile, addresses, sign-in tokens, cart, wishlist, and reviews. Records that must be retained are disconnected from your user account and customer contact details are removed.
Children
Zanmicro is a general shopping service and is not directed to children. A parent or guardian should contact us if they believe a child supplied personal information without appropriate permission.
